Hear From Our Clients

If you are a first time home buyer, the Chell team is definitely the team you want on your side. We worked with Patti and she walked us through the entire home buying process and taught us so much about what to look for with each tour. We went from no idea where to start to buying a house in 4 months with their help – we felt accommidated every step of the way and are very grateful to have found realtors who care so much about their clients.

This was our first time selling and Patti made it such a good experience for us. Our house sold within the first week with multiple offers, and above asking price. Patti is very knowledgeable and we are so grateful for the time that she took to help us with all of our questions and concerns. She went above and beyond what we expected. We couldn’t have asked for a better realtor or outcome.

My husband and I were so pleased with the service of Susan and her team. As seniors, we appreciated the help and support that was provided. Highly recommend this team.

We met Patti at a Starbucks about 4km from the house my family had owned for 60 years. We asked her to meet us there as we needed to find someone who would be able to assist my elderly father out of the only house he had known his entire adult life.
He’s old, not healthy, and had no idea how to sell a house. (None of us did). Better find someone who knew what they were doing, but, most importantly, someone who would be able to work at the speed and emotional level of an individual who is making the biggest change of his life.
Enter Patti! Our Savior!! Patti is smart, confident, empathetic, and sympathetic. I knew immediately that she was the one to entrust with this assignment.
She knew the neighborhood. She knew the rules. She knew the limitations of her client. She knew when to ease off and knew when to press on. She had both boxes AND forms being filled. She had inspectors coming in. She had lawyers going out. She handled EVERYTHING with minimal impact on an individual who, frankly, wouldn’t have been able to handle much.
She knew what her client needed in a new home and found some keepers right away. It didn’t take very long at all to get dad excited about the new possibilities that would come with a smaller, less demanding home. Once found, Patti simplified the purchasing process and before we knew it….dad had moved into his first home since 1966.
Now, all that was left was to pack up 60 years of memories and find someone who was wanting to move into a tried and tested family home. Her team lined up junk removers, stagers, painters, and cleaners. They took a drone video of the property (great keepsake) and built an online presence that guaranteed some attention. Only five months after that first Americano, the biggest piece of our lives was in our rear view mirror and my father was left comfortable and happy.
I cannot understate Patti’s importance to our family and our future. She took the biggest obstacle to my father’s safety and sanity and removed every trap with skill and empathy.
If you are going to sell your home, or purchase another…do yourself a favour. Reach out to Patti and her Chell team. She changed our lives.
Oh, and, for no better reason other than she cares…Patti gifted our family with a commissioned painting of the home in which we spent our entire lives. Who does things like that? Patti Brown does, and we will always be grateful.

We recently sold my mother’s property with Susan and her team. From the very first meeting, Susan was so helpful and accommodating. Her team provided us with a market analysis and comparables to help us understand what we might expect in a sale. It was very informative and instructive, and made the whole process much more predictable. We received very good advice about how to show the property, as vindicated by the quick offers and closing price. At various points, we interacted with all of Susan’s staff, Sarah and Patti as well as the office support staff. They were all courteous and responsive to our questions. Even down to suggesting a real estate lawyer for the sale transaction, everything went smoother than we could have hoped.
This was our first time selling a property and the Chell team could not have made it any easier. I wouldn’t think of using another agent for our real estate needs in the future.
Many thanks to Susan and the Chell team.

We worked with Patti to successfully sell our home. Patti’s steady, calm guidance and strategic know-how were invaluable throughout the process of staging our home and getting it on the market. She helped us understand all aspects of the selling process, guiding us through the marketing strategy and sourcing high quality drone and video production, resulting in the best possible outcome in the shortest amount of time. Always available to address our questions and keep us updated on our progress,  Patti was a pleasure to work with, from start to finish. Having worked with the Chell team on two other previous successful home sales (2008 + 2020), we would not hesitate to work with them again.
