Orleans

Orleans is a fast-growing area in Ottawa’s east end. It is comprised of several smaller neighbourhoods, including Chapel Hill, Convent Glen, Orleans Wood, Chatelaine Village, Fallingbrook, Queenswood Heights, Chateauneuf, Avalon, Notting Hill, Springridge, East Village, and Bradley Estates.

Compared to other parts of Ottawa, Orleans has a larger population of French-speaking residents.

This suburban community has the perfect blend of single-family homes, townhomes, and condos with many new build options available as construction continues to expand south towards Navan Road.

Those seeking some local culture will want to discover the galleries and events at the Shenkman Arts Centre. It also has a strong and active community association and business investment association. Offering bilingual services, the centre hosts live performances and art studios in addition to running children’s camps in the summer.
